My plan is to just not tell anyone (about the religion).

I suppose the problem for me there is the possibility of ending up in some sort of public office - either appointed or elected - and how easy it is for information to get out. Plus, the fact that I was head of MAAS is public knowledge. Once information is out, it's pretty much impossible to get it secret again if someone is trying to find it.
