yep. it's supposed to lighten hair because of the acids. (it didn't work though because it wasn't really sunny)

I just go swimming in a pool to lighten my hair.
After a months worth of swimming, all my hair turns blond. ALL OF IT. My head looks strangely larger with lighter hair. =(
