Okay, so. I have this 30gb video iPod that is "broken". It's actually fully functional, but the screen is pretty much destroyed. You can read like half of it around the edges, but for the most part you can't read much. However, everything else about the iPod is totally up to par. I used it on my trip to Texas in January, and it worked perfectly

Okay, so the same exact thing happened to my ipod. The screen got dented while I was in England, and I had to spend the rest of the trip (three long months) guessing what songs I was going to play.

BUT!
It is actually fixable. As in, you can fix it. My dad fixed mine. You can order a new screen for it online, open it up by following directions from the internet, and BLAMMO! Completely fixed iPod.

That's weird! I went to the Apple store and everything, and they said it wasn't fixable. It's actually kind of beneath the screen, but perhaps it is fixable! I do have a new iPod now though, so I dunno if it's worth it to spend money on the old one.
