I survived! For those you forgot, I had some of my colon surgically removed this past Wednesday in order to remove these overgrown polyps that were blocking 3/4s of my system. I came out of it with 2 feet left of my colon and some hard days in the hospital. I still need ALOT of recovery but I'm home now with some pain-meds ( Read more... )

My brother jokingly says that he belongs to the Zipper Club, because of the scar from where the doctor had cut into him. It is a long scar that goes from his belt line to two inches above his navel.

Some people who have had surgery have scars like this, and they sometimes call them zippers. This mostly relates to heart or colon surgeries.
