It is nice that in this age of LJ, we really can ameliorate our shame a bit by expressing it (very, very artfully and well) to a sympathetic audience who mostly say "Really funny but also not the end of the world", which it wasn't.

Slow fucking!

Man! I feel better having read this, I hope you feel better having written it.

I think it's the third best thing about the internet, after song lyrics (I'm ridiculously bad at understanding lyrics aurally) and free, streaming movies and TV shows.

I do feel better after writing this. I don't know what we did as a people before the advent of LiveJournal or blogging; I mean, did we hold onto our shame, let it burrow deep inside like a biscuit weevil? I don't know. I honestly don't.

Soulful slowfucks have their place . . . I mean, I've heard they have their place. Somewhere.

I laughed out loud, with empathy and rue and without shame.

Oh, it's hilarious! When I first busted out "want to come to my sad house for some slow-fucking," Kim and I almost peed ourselves laughing.

I assume that "slow fucking" describes not just the duration, but also the rhythm. When I entertain a one-night stand, I eschew a slow rhythm, but attempt a formidable duration.
