It has been over a year since my last post here. Not good. I come sporadically and read my friends but I spend more time on Facebook, which is good for reconnecting and keeping in touch but not for longer thoughts, musing, or making new friends. Of course! I meant I will probably lose some communities etc. The real people are who I want here, like you. aforementioned ex-gf is on the east coast this week and we have been spending much time together but I honestly can't say what is in her heart. I don't believe she knows so I am hanging in there.

I'm sorry to hear that the past 2 years have been so rough -- I saw that your facebook status read single and wondered if there was a story behind that.

It's been a pretty challenging couple of years for most of my friends list (myself included), so I'm sure you'll find much commiseration here.

Sometimes I think 'It's complicated' describes it better because while I am trying to 'move on' datingwise, it isn't a clean break and we both have a lot of feelings still.

while you were gone i had time to marry a nice block, have a kid, buy a house, regret buying a house, regret marring a nice block, have a few friends screw me other, gain less then a few really good ones. oh, and move to minnesota :)

Life is good, eh? Actually getting better but definite ups and downs. Somehow the downs get control sometimes....
