I had a dream last night that I bought crack (it looked like little glass beads in a plastic bag that had been ripped open in the corner)... but then I wanted to return it, because *I* didn't really want it, and the friend who had gone in on it with me had a big problem with crack and I didn't think I should let them have any. WEIRD. Then a few ( Read more... )

don't forget the cyclists that hop up onto the sidewalk and just ride along the sidewalk cutting off pedestrains! which is ILLEGAL!

Yeah, that shit drives me NUTS. I once yelled "bikes go on the road!" at a girl, and she got all pissed off and said "I'm paring my bike, is that all right with you??". I backed off, but I'm still mad that I did. Who cares if you're just about to park your bike? If you're on the sidewalk, you should be WALKING your bike. Bitch. :D

it makes me so mad that cops don't do anything about it. i mean, i'm a cyclist (i can't WAIT to fix my bike) but i'll never ride on the sidewalk ever.

it's so awful!

The only time I ever ride on the sidewalk is when I have to go through the construction on Dundas. There's only one lane for both directions, so there's really no choice. I ride slowly, and I warn people that I'm coming up behind them.

i think all pedestrians should experience being a driver and a cyclist.

i think all cyclists should experience being a pedestrian and a driver.

i think all drivers should experience being a cyclist and a pedestrian.

and then i think some understanding might start taking place.

so, i read this yesterday before going to work. when i got off the streetcar, the guy behind me was all "watchout!" and a pair of cyclists zipped right by the open doors... like if i hadn't stopped they both would've rolled over us, and i'd probably have to go to the hospital. So, the guy that warned me and i are complaining about crazy cyclists, and how they show no responsibility... then i realised that whist we were talking, we both jaywalked through a busy intersection.

Irony.
