I don't know if other stores are still cutting hours or not, but mine is. I'm full-time and haven't worked a 40 hour week since December. I average 36 hours a week lately, the lowest they can cut me without jeopardizing my full-time status. Hmmm, they just made me full time, after working 40 hours a week for nearly 3 years.
And now this, they cut hours right after the new year, but that lasted 2 weeks. So, yeah. Should be interesting to see what develops.

I have yet to see the union placating. Most likely, they're running into the same walls at the corporate level that the employees are in the store level. Ever since they went "OH SHIT WAL-MART!"-paranoid, things have gone downhill. :/
