Dream Drabble: Chapter 23

After lunch they headed back to the hotel to get some rest, after about an hour or two Allen,
Aya and Mikee tried to get ready for their practise on that afternoon. While waiting for Allen’s couch
Mikee asked everyone if they needed something or if they wanted to go somewhere.
Aiba who is also fascinated with cars asked “anu, is it okay if I come and watch your practise”
Jun also agreed “Yeah, can I see you guys in action?” Mikee smiled and says depends if Allen’s coach
would allow it since most of the time Coach Mark would have it as a closed practise” Erwin smiled
and Ace commented “Except for us right? since we would be helping them?” Mikee nodded “yup you
guys needs to work for the passes” Erwin answered “Cool we get to see the cars they are using in the match”
Mikee shake her head.
Allen smiled and says “M, its okay Coach says they can see our practise since I mentioned they are your clients
and that you agreed to be with my team” Aya laugh along with Steph and says “Oh boy, and the competition
between siblings starts” Nino, Sho and Ohno where puzzled while Mikee smiled and commented “see it for yourselves”
then give everyone a playful wink “Oh Allen what suit are we to wear?” Aya smiled “better be comfy like ours”
Allen smiled “well since it’s already settled that Phoenix and Falcon are in my team a sponsor provided you guys a suit”
Aya and Mikee looked at each other while Steph laugh “So you would have a new suit because of phoenix and falcon huh”
Allen smiled mischievously “sort of, when they found out M is going to join our team they immediately contacted
Coach and says they would sponsor it” Aries commented “wonder who that sponsor is, car brand in particular?”
Allen looked at Aries and answered “I was even shock we received a sponsor that big, I need to confirm it though anyway
we would meet them in the field so shall we go?”
They arrived at the parking lot of the racing field and Mikee stopped in front of a blue tap down car “ne, Leigh Do you
happen to know what branch Sosaya is managing?” Leigh thinks and says “No, why?” Mikee pointed the blue car Leigh
smiled and says “always full of surprises, although I am pretty sure he is assigned in Chicago” Mikee smiled and nodded
“well we would find out soon ne” Leigh nodded.
Aries on the other hand looked at Leigh who answered “I guess we have an idea who would sponsor Allen’s team for
their suit” Ron was shock and looking at Aries and Leigh then commented “Am I really seeing this? Oh god it might be
true that the end of the world is near” Everyone laugh while Mikee drag Leigh and Aries to get inside the stadium.
Allen run towards where his coach is, after greeting each other he looked up towards Mie and Arashi’s direction.
Girls lined up on one side while Mie run towards the coach, Ohno, Nino, Sho, Jun, and Aiba gaped when they saw the coach.
The girls along with Mie’s cousins laugh then Ohno voiced out “He looks a lot like Tim” Coach Mark commented “Sorry but
I am more handsome than Tim” everyone laugh again while Mikee introduce them to Coach “Alright, so I guess I don’t need
to elaborate that Coach Mark is actually Tim’s twin brother” then Mikee face Mark “oh, Coach who would be our
sponsor this time?”
Mark smiled happily “I didn’t believe it at first until I get to read the contract, although they requested for your appearance
before I get to sign the said sponsorship” Mikee nodded “shall we meet them then I wonder who they are” Mark put an arm
around her shoulder and guided them to one of the VIP lounges he reserved “They say, they wanted to see you first and
talked to you before they let us sign it, one of them even mentioned they haven’t seen you in a while I just overheard
them talking you know”
When they enter the lounge Mark smiled and greeted the sponsor again “As requested Phoenix is with us, so shall we start
our transaction?” Mikee arch her brow, one of the guys stood up and with a serious face says “we would withdraw
the sponsorship, we wanted to meet “The Phoenix” not Mikee Alfaro” then the other guy also stood up and says “Yeah we
wanted to meet the professional Motocross driver and not an acquaintance who would only show up if she needed
anything” Mark gap of what he heard.
Allen was shock and wanted to argue but then Mikee also answered “well excuse me gentlemen, but I can pay for our
clothing thank you very much, and I am not showing myself to people only if I needed anything they are the ones who
are not contacting me nor telling me where the hell are they anyway” Leigh was now giggling at the back and was trying
to hide himself from the crowd while the other two were taken aback then Mikee continued “If I remember it right I even
send in a message to those people informing them I have a match in CA but none of them show up I even send in
passes for them”
Mark gape and says “can we all talk and be considerate about the sponsorship?” Mikee arch her brow and was about
to walked out but then one of the guys grab her “fine you won, I wasn’t able to come since my boss is a jerk and won’t
allow me to go to CA” Ace and Erwin where near Mikee now and tried to protect her from the two guys, Mikee looked
at the other guy “What about you? what would be your excuse?” The second guy smiled sheepishly and answered “My
wife just give birth so I am unable to come”
Mikee smiled “that is excusable, but you have to show me pictures of your new baby” the 2nd guy smiled and nodded
while Mikee had a hard time laughing now and face Mark “It’s okay coach you would still have your SSC Aero sponsorship,
and Er-nii and Ace-nii it’s okay I know these guys” that was the only time Leigh move forward then the two guys were
shock but give Leigh a jab and hug “we haven’t noticed you were there” Leigh was smiling and commented “yeah and I get
to see how M get to be miss sassy where it’s should be the other way around”
Mikee got close to Leigh this time who automatically put an arm around her “well they deserve that on telling people
how bad I am as a friend” both guys looked Mikee and Leigh then both was about to say something but Mikee
cut them out “not it, cut it out I asked him to come with me that is why he is here” One of the guys open his arms
“alright I’ll take that excuse, you get to run around elsewhere and we just missed teasing you although you always get
to turn the fault on us”
Mikee smiled mischievously before hugging him “I missed you too Aniki” The other guys smiled and ask for a hug too
“we didn’t get to say anything but you already know what we are thinking, nothing less from the baby of MZKTRS”
Mikee giggled but give him a tight hug “You should have seen it coming Aniki” then give a playful wink “you know
I won’t back down to neither of you”
People on the room are now gaping and somehow confused while Mark voiced it out “did we missed out on something?
do we have the sponsorship still?” Mikee laugh in between Jason and Sosaya who answered “Yes, you can sign the sponsorship
contract we would need to have a copy of those before we leave” then Jason commented “don’t forget to sign my papers too”
Mikee smiled and introduce them properly this time “Minna meet my Aniki, they were actually Junior high friends of Leigh.
This is Sosaya Bermudes Area Manager of SSC Aero Illinois and Jason Manahon Area Manager of SSC Tuatara Florida or was
it New Jersey?” Jason smiled “New Jersey, and the next competition will be held there next year”
The girls were nodding in understanding while Allen still can’t believe what he hears “Wait up, you says the sponsorship we
would be signing is for SSC Aero and SSC Tuatara right? I didn’t hear it wrong?” Mikee laugh and confirmed “Yes Allen the
top 3 and 4 car racing brand is sponsoring your match this coming thursday” Allen and his coach were hugging each other,
on the other hand Aiba also can’t believe himself “Mi-chan you actually know these people for real I mean they were the
biggest brands of racing cars”
Mikee smiled “I just got lucky I get to introduced to these people Ma-chan but that doesn’t mean I get to have all the perks
I want, as much as possible I am saving those favor when I needed it the most” Aya asked “So when would they deliver
our suit” Mikee smiled “If I am not mistaken they have it all prepared and they would be sending it tomorrow ohh and
Sosaya I wanted the white and blue helmet” Sosaya nodded “alright, I would ask them to deliver it tomorrow at
the hotel are you staying”
“Few blocks from here Clinton I believe the name was, ohh forgot to tell you Vox is also around although he would be on
duty on that day he is assigned at the match along with Paul” Sosaya nodded “Thanks for the heads up, I guess I needed
a new ride I don’t want Vox driving my blue baby” Mikee laugh “Yeah I remember him smashing red to a wall that is why
I warned you demo you would let me drive your car right?” Sosaya handed her the keys “fine, I would trust you with my
baby just for today” Mikee kissed Sosaya on the cheeks and give a playful wink to everyone.
