Author's notes: Written for HSJ-thon; This is my first ever HSJ fic (and my almost first shounen-ai pairing), please go easy on me :) This is for cherie, who got me into writing my first HSJ fic :D Hope you guys enjoy! Constructive Criticisms are very welcome (please forgive my grammar, this fic wasn't proofread)
I. Truth or Dare
JUMP just finished their practice and all of them were dead tired, well except for Nakajima. All of the members were either snoring at the couch or slouching at the chair, waiting for further instructions from the staff. Nakajima was one of those who were sitting. He crossed his arms, a small pout could be seen on his face; apparently Yamada wasn’t paying attention and was too tired to say something to him. He stayed quiet for a minute or so and then it hit him. A grin can be seen forming in his face.
“What’s with the grin?” Takaki asked.
“Minna,” he called out loud so everybody can hear, even those who are snoozing. All the JUMP members were now looking at him. “Let’s play truth or dare”
Obviously, the only answer he got was the whining of the rest of JUMP.
Takaki stood up and placed his right hand on top of Nakajima’s head. “Just play by yourself and leave the rest of them in peace” With that, Takaki gave a slight pat on his head.
“Oh okay, if you say so. I just thought that maybe you’d like to, oh never mind” Nakajima was toying with him.
Takaki raised an eyebrow “what?”
Nakajima smiled and signaled Takaki to move closer so that he could tell his *secret plans* to Takaki. “Well, you and I have been talking a lot recently and I was wondering about…”
“Oh, yeah” Takaki said.
“And you wanted to…”
“Uh-huh”
“Yes that, so I was thinking that…”
“But we don’t, oh wait, I have!”
“That’s great so here’s what we’re going to do…” Takaki’s lips curved into a smile as he listened to whatever Nakajima was whispering to him. “Okay guys, let’s have some truth or dare!” Takaki announced as Nakajima was preparing the dares.
The rest were complaining but when Takaki said that it’s to improve their bond with each other together with a dozen more explanation, they finally agreed to it just to shut him up.
All of them had their turns of truths and dare, well except for Inoo; he was the last of the group to get a dare. So Inoo reached for the hat where Yuuto had placed all the dare cards and picked his dare. His eyes widened as he read what his dare was.
After a few minutes…
Inoo stepped in the room, revealing him wearing the dress that Takaki handed over to him. His dare: to wear girl’s clothing. Luckily, (unlucky for Inoo) Takaki, before going to work, bought his sister a birthday present: a pretty white dress. Takaki’s sister was just about the same height as Inoo and it fit perfectly well on him. Inoo didn’t want to wear it since the purpose of the dress was a birthday present but Takaki got away with “She won’t know it anyway and I’ll send it to the dry clean before giving it to her, so no backing out!”
II. Mother Nature photo shoot
Hikaru sighed as he sat on the couch inside JUMP’s dressing room. He was cramming for his project that was due the next day. He was supposed to do a photography album showing the beauty of Mother Nature. One of the requirements was that he had to have a model in the picture but all of the ‘supposed to be models’ he asked backed out due to their final exams the coming week.
Inoo walked in the room to see a sad Hikaru and asked what’s wrong. Hikaru explained that he needed a model for his project but couldn’t find anyone who’s available on that same day. Inoo smiled, he was willing to help a friend in need, so he said that he’ll be glad to help Hikaru finish his project.
Hikaru’s face brightened when he heard Inoo say that he’d help and immediately dragged Inoo to the washroom so that he could change into the clothes Hikaru prepared for the ‘photo shoot’.
“Smile Inoo-kun! Oh that’s nice, tilt your head a bit to your left, that’s great. Okay one, two, three!”
‘Hikaru, I’ll get you for this. You better run for your life after the shooting or you’ll be dead!’ Inoo thought as he flashed a fake smile for the camera.
Who in JUMP wouldn’t be mad at Hikaru if he made them wear what Inoo was wearing? Its girl's clothing and surely no guy would like to wear it. Apparently, since Hikaru’s theme is ‘Mother Nature’, he decided to choose a woman as his model. Since Inoo offered to help him, he couldn’t let the chance pass since he was already cramming and Inoo looked so cute in pink, green and blue dresses and long black curly wig.
III. Muse
Inoo was invited to Daiki’s school where they will be having a Greek mythology play. Inoo arrived at the school just in time for the start of the show so all the people were already inside.
Inoo couldn’t find his way to the hall and he was wandering inside the school for 15 minutes already. Luckily, he saw Daiki who seemed to be panicking.
“Daiki!” He called out. “I’m so glad I found you! I’m lost, can you show me the way to the hall where the play was held?”
Daiki was surprised to see his friend outside the hall while the play already started 15 minutes ago. He wasn’t paying attention to what Inoo was saying; instead he was staring at Inoo.
“Daiki, are you okay?” Inoo asked with a confused look on his face.
Daiki snapped back to reality, he complained “Actually no, one of my classmates got into a little accident and can’t perform. I need someone to be a substitute.”
Inoo looked at Daiki with a concerned look. He wanted to help but the thought of what Hikaru did to him entered his mind so he just kept quiet until Daiki grabbed both of his hands and said “Oh please Inoo-kun, would you help us? This play is a very big part of our grade and the missing role is quite a major one”
‘Why does he look so cute when he whines like that?’ Inoo thought. “I would love to, but I don’t know the linnneeeee---” “Great, thanks a lot!” Daiki was already dragging him towards the backstage.
The girls at the backstage was trying to suppress their squeals when they saw Inoo wearing a white, Greek-styled dress with matching golden crown on his black straight wig. “Would you mind explaining to me why am I wearing like this” Inoo gritted his teeth while he was asking Daiki who was fixing the dress.
“You’re a muse and muses play an important role in Greek mythology. Don’t worry, you don’t have to say anything, just follow Yumi’s lead. Arigatou na, Inoo-kun!” with that, he flashed he greatest smile and Inoo could do nothing but sigh.
When Inoo entered the stage, the crowd was simply amazed by his beauty and expressed it through the ‘ooohhs’ and ‘ahhhs’ that can be heard through out the hall.
IV. Onee-chan
Inside the practice room, Shintaro and Ryutaro was sitting at the bench while Takaki was kneeling besides Shintaro, patting him at the back.
Inoo was just passing by when he saw Shintaro crying and Ryutaro looked like he was about to cry as well. He entered the room, looking at Takaki, asking for an answer. “I promised them that my sister and I will accompany them in their family bonding activity at school since none of their families can make it. Unfortunately my sister can’t go because she got sick and no one can accompany us as the ‘sister’.”
Inoo looked at Takaki then to the crying boy to Ryutaro then back at Takaki. Ryutaro stood up and hugged him tightly. “Inoo-kun what will we do?” He was already crying.
Inoo couldn’t say anything; he can’t even do anything for them. They stayed like that for a few minute before Inoo finally said “I’ll go instead, since I’m getting used to dressing like a girl anyway.” He saw Takaki wearing a big grin on his face. “I mean it in a bad way Takaki!” Inoo said as he already knew what Takaki was about to say.
They were already at the school and all attention was at Inoo. He was wearing a white plain shirt with a long gypsy skirt plus a curly wig tied in pig tails. “You look cute onee-chan!” Shintaro said as they were walking towards the school building, holding Inoo’s hand.
“He’s right! You look cute onee-chan” Takaki repeated mockingly which made Inoo throw him a death glare. “Shut up or you’ll be dead” was all Takaki got out of Inoo through out the whole day.
V. Fashion Show
Christmas is just around the corner and so as the JE annual fashion show held just before winter ball. All the JUMP members were excited and that became the topic all week for them. The theme for the fashion show is ‘A night to remember’ and every group should present their fashion line including 2 fashions for women.
They were bugging Inoo Kei to wear the outfits they chose but all that Inoo gave them was cold stares. Not even Chinen’s puppy dog eyes got into him, although Inoo was so close to saying yes.
“Come on Inoo-kun! I’ll wear the other clothing and walk down the run way with you” Yamada tried but failed miserably. All he got was “I’LL NEVER DO IT!” then turned his back on Yamada.
So on the day of the fashion show, Yamada was forced to wear the pink floral dress with high heels and long wavy wig with a head band decorated with crystals. But JUMP wasn’t planning on giving up on their no. 1 star: Inoo Kei.
Inside the changing room, Inoo was removing his shirt when he noticed that all the clothes he was supposed to wear including the pants he just removed was gone. He only had his boxers, shirt and the blue and silver Christmas gown that was supposed to be for the second model who’ll be wearing the female fashion line.
“Oh, they are so mean” Inoo thought as he tried to open the door of the changing room. But to no luck, he was locked in and the only way out was to the runway. He had no choice but to put it on before the curtains were pulled up to reveal him in his boxers.
Takaki was the one assigned on being the group’s emcee. So he did what he had to do and called out their second model for the female fashion line of Hey! Say! JUMP.
Inoo walked down the runway gracefully, trying his best not to fall down due to the 2 ½ inch heels he was wearing. The juniors and their sempais were cheering for him they love the blue sparkling gown decorated with silver ribbons and the matching silver ribbon headband on top of his long curly wig and the long white gloves that emphasize his beautiful hand.
VI. Winter ball
Everyone was cheering for him except for one guy whose world seemed to stop when he saw Inoo Kei strutting down the runway.
The fashion show was finished and Inoo was awarded the prettiest model. Almost everyone now proceeded to the jimusho’s grand ball room from the Christmas winter ball except for Inoo and Takaki.
“What’s wrong?” Takaki approached Inoo who was still in his blue and silver gown. “Do you find it hard to walk with those heels?”
“It’s not about that. Well, everybody has been excited about this winter ball and they’ve actually managed to ask someone to be their partners even Ryutaro.”
“So?” Takaki sat beside him.
“Everyone has partners except me. Do I really look like a girl that I can’t even find a partner?” Inoo looked at Takaki who was staring at him for quite sometime.
Takaki smiled “Do you want an honest answer to that? Yes, you look like a girl when wearing girl’s clothing, but that doesn’t mean you look cool when you’re wearing your regular clothes. Come on, even I don’t have a partner.”
“Yuya,” Takaki’s heart almost stopped when Inoo called him by his first name, “you can get a partner anytime you want because you’re cool and sexy.”
“If that’s how you put it,” he stood up and walked towards the door.
“Ne, Kei-chan”
“Hn?”
“If I act all cool and sexy now, would you go to the ball with me?” He was leaning at the door, arms crossed, wearing a seductive smile on his face.
Inoo blushed at the sight of Takaki; his heart racing when Takaki decided to walk back toward him. Takaki stopped in front of him and offered him his hand. “Can I have this dance?” He gave his sweetest smile which made Inoo like to melt.
Inoo was raising his hand, giving it to Takaki, he was still hesitating but Takaki pulled him, forcing Inoo to stand. As Takaki pulled Inoo closer to him, he placed his other hand around Inoo’s waist. “I know that’d you’ll feel awkward inside the ball room, so let’s just dance here sweet dear” Takaki whispered as he lead Inoo in dancing.
Inoo was just following Takaki’s lead. He was feeling mixed emotions as they danced through the room.
Takaki stopped, Inoo looked at him. “Kei,” he leaned forward and kissed Inoo on the lips.
“Merry Christmas”
Inoo stared at him “What?”
“You just kissed me” Inoo replied with a small voice.
“Yes, so?”
“So,” with that Inoo’s lips touched Takaki’s, placing his hand around Takaki’s neck.
After breaking off the kiss, Inoo hugged Takaki and said the sweetest thing Takaki has ever heard:
“Merry Christmas too, my love.”
