Ah, new year. According to my friend's family I am officially Cuban now. And I have a tiny hat to prove it. I suppose now I will be abandoning the horrifically unattractive "traditional" Welsh hat for something more practical for the Southern sun.

As typical for the holidays I have spent most nights drunk and overeating. My waistline grows
