i like the coat. do you even really need all that? i wear my puffy coat constantly, but you guys seem more temperate.

Yes Seattle does not get as cold as chicago but it feels cold to me! I wait for the bus downtown & the wind off the water seems so cold. My twin sister said she always gets more cold in Seattle than she did in Colorado due to the damp. I suppose it might be overkill a little but I think I will like it. Most of the costs I saw were either raincoats with no insulation, down coats like this, or wool coats that were quite expensive & most lacked hoods!
