So, uh, just so--just--just so everyone knows, Zeke and I are, uh, are--are both manning Sergei's kitchen again.

Well, with--with help from Gideon, too, I-I guess.

It's a good place to, uh, t-to come and hang out. You can talk to--t-to Remy at the bar while he fixes you a--a-a drink or--or, uh, listen to Gideon and Kate play in the evening or--o- ( Read more... )

Did ya' ever leave, Mumbles?

Ah, well. I'll be there.

[Jinx really takes his time getting there, but arrives in no less than twenty minutes.]

[Oh yeah, someone's coming. This'll be great. He's gonna completely gross them out.

...any minute now.

Okay, so by the time Jinx ACTUALLY shows up, Herz has stopped hovering over his chocolate trick and gone to attend actual food. He's put on the lights and donned his sunglasses since he's expecting company and is hanging around one of the ovens when the demolition expert shows up.]

Uhh--Hey.

[Jinx casually walks in whistling and hops on a seat.]

Sorry ta' keep ya waitin', Mumbles. I got distracted.

[His eyes immediately dart towards the chocolate bar where they stay as he places an order.]

Can I have three yakkow burgers--actually, make it five.

[Looks like Jinx noticed the 'random' deodorant hanging out in his kitchen. Herz hopes he realizes how out of place it is, though...he is from Jak's world. He's a little dubious if deodorant exists there, from the hand-full of people he's met from the place. No offense or anything, but they all definitely smell...'natural'.]

I--I-I can do that!

[Herz turns the grill on and heads to the refrigerator where he keeps his pre-made patties.]

Crap, runnin' low.

[It's enough to fill Jinx's order, at least. The teenager pulls them out and slaps them one at a time on the grill.]

What, uh, what--w-what toppings, man? And, uh...how've you been?

Nah, it's nice of you to say it I think. How else are the new passengers gonna know?

True--I-I just--I dunno.

Maybe I--I-I should--should just be better at catchin' 'em when they come in. I--I dunno.

Or... maybe we could put up signs, or something? I feel bad, what with you taking the advertisement upon yourself like this.

I'm not sick of it! You just reminded me of something.

Someone told me that you would probably have empty bottles down there. Do you?

meinxxherz April 3 2010, 02:17:59 UTC
Sure! Y-Yeah.

What--what kind do you need?

lightyourway April 3 2010, 07:38:58 UTC
Um... Wine bottles, I think. Four of them.

Unless there's another kind that uses corks. They don't have to be very big.

Yeah--

Y-Yeah, sure! I can--I--I-I--I can--can get those for you!

When do you, uh, d-d-do you wanna stop by? Or I could bring them to-t-to you.
