I really liked Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, you guys. Like a lot. del Toro has not disappointed me. That makes me a little nervous. I was skeptical of the movie at first, but it's just so much nightmare fuel. Amazingness ( Read more... )

That movie was so scary! D: Uh, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, not the other one.

I think that life in Tokyo is just more dynamic in general? While I was there, I was certainly involved in a lot more than I ever was in my life as a college student here in the US.

Oh hm. It was the opposite for me. First time I was here I felt like I did nothing but study and spend time by myself (sad, I know). I think I'm trying to make up for lost time with all the junk I have going on.

I liked Don't be afraid of the dark, but I didn't love it. It wasn't as mind bending as I wanted...

It wasn't the what the fuck that was Pan's Labyrinth, but I couldn't fault it for that. I think it did well with the whole haunted house schtick. I never saw the tooth fairy deconstruction coming.
