No offense, but it seems a little weird to me to say you don't want a funeral - I always thought a funeral was for the people surviving you, not so much for you!

I think it's that he wasn't religious, so he didn't want a church service. I didn't know him, though, so I don't know.

My mom doesn't want a funeral either. She's said so many times over the years. She just wants to be cremated, then buried with my baby brother and (if he died first), my dad.
