I am proud of this fact. Being a bitch has its perks. I have successfully bitched my way into getting a $150 credit for Amtrak travel. See knowing you're right and not being afraid to prove that you're right is a good thing! Haha.

Well Merry Christmas to me! That is one hell of a great present.

In less than 48 hours, I will be on a train heading back to Philly, but 48 hours is too far away. This past weekend in Philly was more of a teaser than anything. But it was simply NOT enough to prepare me for the experience of my first Virginia snow storm. I am desperately needed as a driving coach to begin with down here (and I'm not an expert driver), but when the snow kicks in, the demand is higher. In less than 24 hours I will be on a plane flying home for Thanksgiving. In 26 hours I will be in Philly visiting quickly with some friends and then seeing my uncle at the hospital! I'm so excited to see the progress he's made. He's now doing physical therapy and able to eat real food. This is a huge step to gaining back his strength. To think one ( Read more... )
