Well, I'm home from the hospital safe and sound, minus one uterus. I can't say that I feel great because I'm still having some pain.
No cigarettes still, so if I can get through a hysterectomy without 'em, I think I just may have them licked this time.
Sorry I can't write more, but I will as things get better.

Did you get to keep the uterus in a jar? Kidding ~ though some people do because of their religious beliefs. It's along the, "I was born with this so I gotta have it with me when I die".
A funny/off/weird story for you: My Dad had a cancer tumor on his spleen. I asked him if he could take the spleen home after his surgery. He was all freaked out. I said, "Dad. Have you ever SEEN a cancer tumor? They are HIDEOUS! I'd put that sucker in the fridge so, when I got the munchies, I'd see that thing and totally go throw up! It's the PERFECT diet aid!" We laughed. Yes, my whole family is weird like me.

My beloved Grandmother died three weeks after I quit smoking. I knew that if I could get thru the funeral (and seeing my family) without a cigarette, I would truly make it. I hope it's the same for you.
Love you, hope you feel better soon. Booze helps. ;-)
