Hospital Musings
So I've been in the hospital in Guangzhou about four days, today is day five. If everything is still okay, I should be out of here by Tuesday afternoon. I've been stuck with needles more than a pin cushion the last month. I already spent a week about two weeks ago getting IV injections here, and now post surgery (naturally) I have to get another ( Read more... ) -
Update Before Going To The Hospital
So I will be going on Monday to check in for my hemorrhoid and anal fistula surgery in Guangzhou at Clifford Hospital. They'll probably just have me rest for a day and empty my bowels before they get down and dirty up there. Fortunately, general anesthesia is available and I'll be asleep during the procedure. The Last Six Months, And More

Quick Update
Haven't updated in a while. But here's the skinny:
- Got a financial analyst job at Oracle in Redwood City
- Off the crutches, and nearly 100% again on the left ankle (although it will "never" quite be the same I guess... I'm thinking I can start running again soon)
Can't really say anything else of note is going on. -

Mid-Summer Progress
So I haven't got 100% to where I wanted to be weight wise, I am now officially 265.. exactly where I was starting Fall 07. There are 8 solid weeks before the fall quarter officially begins so while it will be most likely not very possible to hit 230 by Fall, I will be able to hit a weight of 240 very reasonably by the first week of school ( Read more... )
