This weekend, we went shopping to Commercial street. Dear biwi insisted that my 2 year old floaters were now unwearable. I still dont see any issue with them, but then ... when biwi says ... you dont argue :)

I explored a lot of footwear shops. Mochi, Woodlands, and more.. but did not find anything great.

SAP celebrated their family day a couple of weeks back - a day where all employees get their families, friends to the SAP campus for a gala party.

I read about the harassment of an honest  IAS officer M.N.Vijayakumar of Karnataka Cadre in the Times of India dated (13th May 2007).

It was an inspiring story & I checked out the website fight corruption that his wife
had set up to help her husband's cause.

Short, well made movie, I was hoping it would be longer, but I guess its best as is.
My wife said it almost seemed like theatre.

Startups have a tough time recruiting talent. The only real benefit that they have to offer an engineer is stocks. You would think that thats very good, and that should incentivize people enough to join startups, especially those who believe in what you are trying to do. (This is what I believed in when I joined a startup)

No OBC quota for current academic session, says SC

I am all for data driven actions. Be it a company, or the government. If data says, that the SC/ST quotas have led to their upliftment, and we wont need the SC/ST quota after n years (n could be 100), as long as it is finite.
Anyways, I can go on writing aout quotas, I'll be repeating myself.
