I know it's been awhile since you've heard from me :-). I've loved mythologies (especially Roman and Greek!) I thought it would be interesting to know the Hades did not get the underworld by choice. Since Zeus was the one who grew up and killed Cronus and got all of his siblings out of Cronus' stomach, he ultimately was the top ruler and to be kind he gave Hades the underworld and Podeidon the sea (his 2 brothers) so they would rule 3 major parts: the sea, underworld, and the heavens and not fight over power and supress their children like Uranus and Cronus. Also Hera liked Heracules even though it was her husband who had an affair with Hercules' mother. You would enjoy Babylonian mythology too :-) It's the original (even before the Bible stories)Enjoy :-)
