I read about that... not a happy thing.

Apparently, they think today's children are too stupid to figure out that a blue monster who eats nothing but cookies isn't *real* and shouldn't be emulated. I'd much rather they changed or got rid of Elmo, who teaches children to refer to themselves in the third person and talk babytalk.
