The thing about not having updated since April is I really don't know where to start or what to say. So... *waves* unfortunately I've never really been a frequent poster, but I hope I'll at least be able to come and say hi when I can ( Read more... )

Yay, Haven! Yay, The Good Wife! Two of the best character dramas on TV. ::hearts madly::

Also, hi!

Hee. I just cannot help 'shipping Alicia with Childs a tiny bit. I think he challenges her in a way the other men in her life don't. Must reupload the Childs/Alicia icon I made last year...

And I really hope we'll get lots and lots of Jackie-Eli conversations. And Kalinda and just about anyone. And, and...

As for Haven, there are aspects I like very, very much. The final scene was awesome, if fairly predictable. That icon of yours is gorgeous!

Hi there!

Btw, I know you're a Castle fan, but I still haven't seen last week's episode and I find myself not caring all that much. Catching up has been more of a chore over breakfast than anything. Maybe because I think Nathan Fillion is the least interesting thing about it; I've never really been overwhelmed by his charm or his looks (still haven't seen Serenity), not even in Waitress (which was too twee in my book).

Alicia/Childs?! There you go, blowing my mind.

The Jackie-Eli was kind of jaw-droppingly brilliant. And complex. And messy. BRILLIANT.

That icon of yours is gorgeous!

Thank you! I've decided I love this icon. It's the epitome of everything I love! Audrey and Nathan investigating...and Duke letting them at it and drinking instead. The man has his priorities.

Castle has been less than great this season. The exception is the Ryan-Esposito interaction, which just keeps getting more entertaining. But the A-plotlines have been lackluster, for the most part. I blame the crappy additions to the writing staff, frankly. Mediocre writers = worse TV. Boo.

They have fabulous if very, very understated chemistry. For instance the recent deposition (I think Childs tries to avoid her as much as possible because he senses her power over him and that's also one reason why his ex-wife wanted her to represent her) and also when Alicia was with Owen on the couch and had to watch Childs' pressconference. Look at her eyes; she was very impressed by his Machiavellianness. Also, earlier Owen told her that she wasn't two-faced, which she so is and she told him so, too. I mean, that's one of the things I adore about Alicia. The Good Wife, indeed. Ha!

Jackie is amazing. I mean, yes, I'm obviously on Team Alicia, but then there's Jackie and her awesomeness. And Eli, poor thing might be in over his head a bit.

Audrey and Nathan investigating...and Duke letting them at it and drinking instead. The man has his priorities.

(Mmm, booze.) Yes, you're right, but I was more thinking of the composition and lighting.

The exception is the Ryan-Esposito interaction, which just keeps getting more entertaining ( ... )

Romany! I hope you're feeling better these days. It's always good to see you, too. :-)

Also, that icon of yours always makes me want to pull out my copy of Eliot's Collected Poems...

Hello! I don't know about any of those things you are talking about, but hello anyway.

I have lost friends because I disagree with them. Such is life.

Heh. :-) Looking forward to summer?

I know, I know. Passions get high, but that doesn't really mean people cannot have reasoned discussion from time to time. I don't discuss certain subjects with certain people because I know that it's never constructive, but that doesn't mean I can't be friends with them. Unless there's no proper give-and-take...
