Wow, I'm a really slow writer. Indexing my responses to the Pepper/Tony prompts here:


For halcyonjazz:

* Please Remember to Knock, Miss Potts | bedroom, typical, neon blue | "I'm sorry, Mr Stark. I didn't realize you were--" Don't say it, don't say it. "--busy." 500~ words. I stole the idea for this story from Chira, who is - unsurprisingly - a genius.

* Metal | bedroom, typical, neon blue | Tony smells of: scotch and vodka, cigarette smoke, sex. 500~ words.

* Don't Wait On Me | strip club, urgent, cotton pink | "Yes, Tony, the press conference is today. The press conference is right now." 800~ words.

For dafnap:

* Extra Dry | Governor's Ball, resigned, peach | Pepper wears her hair in a casual French twist, a soft mound of brass and gold tucked inside itself. 500~ words.

For dragonsquee:

* Across the Floor | dance hall, content, warm orange | Tony traces her hip with his thumb. "Did I mention I'm a super hero?" 700~ words.

For jamaillith:

* Give Us a Hand o'Thine | balcony, fireworks, Pepper's dress | This is the last place she thought to look, so of course this is where he is, hiding from his own party in the refuge of the cold. 700~ words.

* Thirst | balcony, fireworks, Pepper's dress | He is suddenly, acutely thirsty. 500~ words.

For shaney:

* Sharing is Caring | living room, quiet yet playful, red | "'Sharing is caring' is not the golden rule." 700~ words.

For jezunya:

* Might Hurt | basement/lab, scared, red | He says, "Don't panic. It's not as bad as it looks." 1200~ words.

* I Wonder, I Wonder | living room, sleepy, brown | The lights are low, the sun long gone, and Pepper dozes on the long, leather sofa. 800~ words.

For backporchpoet:

* With a Little Luck | staircase, crisp, violet | "What would I do without you?" said Tony. "Aside from the obvious humiliating myself in front of a very large group of photographers with very good cameras." 700~ words.
