Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it (and hahaha, I'm so sorry it's so long! I hope it didn't take too long to read? Aw, geez). Thank you, again, both for reading and for your kind (very kind) words. <333

I am so bad at accepting positive feedback that I'm like, NO, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE MOVIE INSTEAD! But: thank you, oh gosh! I'm so, so glad you enjoyed it, and just--yes. Thank you. <3 <3 <3!!! I hope you do not regret the experience!

ACCEPT WHAT IS YOUR DUE.

But seriously, I love how precise yet indistinct the whole setup is. I was a moron for Norse mythology when I was little, and all the little nods were perfect and beautiful. I love Sif's unrelenting fierceness, and how bitchy Veðrfölnir is and how Ratatoskr is a big gossip; the Norns broke my heart.

I was really impressed with Sif's willingness to go through the journey, even though she would not be unscathed (even though you can't expect anything less from Sif, or from Norse mythology in general. comics what comics). Her trials were so unflinching that I couldn't stop flinching, especially when she hurt her leg.

Sorry for fangirling! I am bad at it! But I basically look at your fandom choices and use them as recommendations, so I love Thor and Young Justice and wish that I could read this for the first time again.

HELLO: this fic is lovely. The narrative arc of it, the prose, the characterization and the worldbuilding-- it's all so sharply and cleverly done, and I sort of want to reread this a dozen times to make sure I'm catching everything I possibly can. And-- ahhh, I have so much I'd like to say and compliment you on, because this is one seriously superlative story from a magnificent author, but if I try to get to everything you will end up with a wall of gushing on your LJ. A waterfall? Yes. So-- I don't know if this is the Done Thing or not, but last night (this morning) when I finished reading this fic I wrote a sort of demi-coherent rec for it, and basically all the points I wanted to touch on are in it, if you feel like mashing yourself face-first into a wall of praise.

Thank you for writing such a wonderful, thoughtful story, and thank you even more for sharing it. ♥

just in case you aren't tracking the bigbang feedback post where i originally left all my feelings explosion on this fic, bc i wanted you to know how amazing i find what you've written.I can't even begin to describe what you've built it's too magnificent. The world building you do is always superb but this is beyond that. YOU BUILD YGGDRASILL AND SHE'S ALIVE AND FULL AND BEAUTIFUL. The way you broke it up in sections and how each section had a purpose was a stroke of genius because allowed you to play with them and play with memory and dreams and it's all interconnected under the whole. I have to tell you I had to take little five minute breaks after all most every section because I was so emotionally exhausted by the end of some. MY FEELINGS WERE TOO MUCH. And Siffffff on the hunt for him!!! What she learns on her journey. Loki dreaming, learning, waiting. It speaks to their nature of the their characters as well and everything you wrote for both of them was so poignant. Their dance scene!!!!!!! *____________* (I wanted to smash ( ... )

I read this on a whim and found myself sucked into the world that you created. I love the amount of detail you put into this story, how you drew upon Norse mythology and seamlessly blended it into the world that the movie showed us. Not only that, but it was a clever twist on the Sleeping Beauty myth, where Sif is the one battling monsters to free her prince from the spell. Your characterizations are amazing, especially Sif once she starts out on her journey and Ygdrasill and Thor and Loki, and basically this story left me with a lot of wonderful feelings that I'm still trying to sort through.

This is a wonderful story and I can't thank you enough for writing it!
