Hi

OMG! I only just started this story. Don't know how I missed it... Read all the parts tonight.Beautifully written, but so sad...

I'm fearful for Jack now...What could've happened?... Don't leave Ennis waiting at the door for too long...

I hope nothing has happened to Jack. Ennis has come to expect and anticipate Jack's appearance at his door. I can hardly wait for the next part of this wonderful chapter. : )

I've only just found this story too and read all parts tonight. This is one of the most painful but intriguing stories I've read, bought tears to my eyes, but I just had to keep going. Felt every single emotion you've beautifully written. You certainly have a skill for bringing words to life.

I know BBM is fiction but what happened in the novel/film and what is going on in your story could so easily happen in real life. I will never understand how or why a person could readily attack another just because they happen to be different. Your opening chapter with Jack being so horribly beaten chilled me. I've several gay friends and the thought of this happening to one of them....and as much as we live in modern so called liberal times, that bigotry and hatred still exists. And it totally appalls me what lengths certain people will sink to.

Mel, thank you so much for such a thought provoking and well written story. I will be anxiously awaiting your next update! Thanks for sharing, Hels.

Thank you so much, Hels !
I agree with you that what happened to Jack could so easily happen - and it already does. It makes me sick to think about those people who use violence against people who think differently or who have a different sexual orientation.

And sadly it happens every day all around the world...

Oh Kathy - I'm sorry that I can only offer angsty stories at the moment. Believe me that I'm also writing one that is really funny and light-hearted - but it isn't translated yet... ;-).

But things will get better for Ennis and Jack even though this story always has a melancholy touch.

Thank you so much for reading this story. It means a lot to me !

I do so enjoy your writing and story telling, even if the story is bittersweet. And truthfully, I like sad stories with angst. I'm a sucker for them.

You are amazing.

thanks for sharing this with us.

Thank God because it seems that the latest stories of mine are all a little bit angsty... ;-)
