I feel I should really try and improve my French and try to stop annoying waiters etc answering me in English when I try so hard to speak in French. The funniest thing I found about speaking French was that when we were in Italy, every time I wanted to say something in Italian, all that came into my mind was in French. My high school teacher would have been so proud...
