Seth smirked to himself the entire way down toward the Great Hall. He wasn't sure why, but for some odd reason, he felt satisfied. Of course, it didn't make sense because he hadn't done anything particularily special.

He turned the last corner, wondering if Mel had made it before him.

"Took you long enough," Melanie said as Seth turned the corner. She was leaning back against the wall, arms crossed loosely over her chest with an expression nothing short of Slytherin-ish on her face.

She quickly looked the boy up and down, deciding that he'd do for entertainment for now.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness," Seth replied with a flourish as he neared the girl. He stopped to bow before her, offering a cheeky grin.

"I do hope you'll forgive me."

Melanie raised an eyebrow at his odd manner, but couldn't help the hint of a smile that pulled at her lips.

"Uh huh. We'll see."

She pushed herself off the wall, putting a hand on her hip. "So. Any idea for a boredom killer?"
