Chapter 4; Why Me?!
Joe's pov
Okay, today I made the dumbest decision of my life, well I guess I made 2… or 3.
First, I let Chad drag me away from Sonny.
Second, I demanded that Chad came with me. Boy, he talks a lot about himself.
And Third… The 3rd doesn’t really matter.
‘So I said to her, “You’re gonna become bff’s with Selena Gomez” And she was all…’ I yawned, Chad really couldn’t stop talking, he must have seen me yawn, cause the next thing he said was,
‘it doesn’t really matter what she said… Oh look, we’re almost there.’
What?! Yes!! Finally! I sighed happily.
We walked past a sign saying, “Stage 2, that way” with a little arrow pointing to where we were walking.
“JOE!!” I cringed, I knew we were there. Nick’s voice sounded almost relieved, but at the same time angry… Was that possible?
“Hey Nick.” I waved at him, while he was glaring. “What’s up?” I tried to sound relaxed, not really easy with your younger brother glaring like that.
Nick ran up to me, looking like he was trying to decide what to be, Angry or pissed off. I just hoped it wasn’t on me, but the guy, the very stupid guy, standing next to me.
“Did you find Kevin?” I shook my head really slowly. Nick just started staring around, probably hoping Kevin would just jump on stage and yell :”Tada! I’m back.” Yeah, right…
“Hey guys!” I cringed, I swear sometimes life can be so… so cheesy.
“KEVIN!” Nick and I yelled at the same time. Standing next to a now looking scared Kevin stood a girl, blonde, flipping her hair over her shoulder every 30 seconds. I recognized her then… Tawny Hart was looking around looking for something or someone… Atleast that’s what it looked like to me.
“Guys, I’m standing right here, you don’t have to yell!” Ugh, why is my brother so…Ugh. Tawny whispered something in Kevin’s ear and while he looked hurt, confused and well… really, really confused, Tawny walked away… More running actually.
“What’s her problem? Not a fan?” Man! Did Chad Dylan Cooper not know when to shut up?! “Something wrong, Kevin?” Nick asked carefully. Kevin frowned for a second. “I’m not sure… one second everything was fine…” I knew how he felt .. and then comes CDC. “… and then when we came here she said that she shouldn’t be here and should go look for Sonny.” Kevin shrugged.
Sonny? Did he say Sonny? Gosh, I sound so obsessed… Okay, Calm down, she’s just a girl.. A funny, beautiful girl… But still .. Just a girl.
“So guys, I don’t want to sound insensitive…” I rolled my eyes… and yet you do… Of course I didn’t say this. “ …But we kinda need to start working on your scripts on your episode.”
Oh great, why did we sign up to be on Mackenzie Falls, Nr.1# Tweendrama? I don’t even like dramas… I never even watched this show.
Man, I would kill to be on So Random right now.
Sonny's pov
I feel so sorry for Joe, I mean I know annoying Chad Dylan Cooper can be. But I can handle it…But Joe, he doesn’t know him. He was acting really weird though.
Anyway I’m on my way back to our awesome prophouse and… “SONNY!” ohow.. Tawny Hart… Oh wait, I was looking for her. One of the reasons why I left Joe Lucas with…with HIM.
“TAWNY! Finally! I’ve been looking for you everywhere!” Tawny ran up to me.
“You never believed what just happened to me!” Wait, is it just me or did that echo… Tawny looked confused at me. “Did we just say the same thing?” Oh, that explains the echo. I nodded slowly.
“Well, my news is probably much bigger than yours and it might include a certain JONAS.” She squeed, I know right, Tawny Hart squeed. Anyway she had my full attention when she said JONAS, gosh, I am so obsessed.
“Did you hear what I just said? I met Kevin Lucas and he is like the nicest guy in the world!” second nicest… “Yeah yeah, that’s great.” Tawny frowned, this was obviously not the reaction she was expecting.
“Okay then… What’s your big news?” She asked smirking, probably thinking mine would be the dumbest, most unimportant ever.
“Well, I was searching for you…” Tawny was paying attention now, “You were?”
“Will you please let me finish my story… or even my first sentence?” She nodded slowly. “So I was searching for you, you apparently disappeared with Kevin and then I bumped into someone.” Tawny came closer, curious about who I bumped in I guess. “Yes?”
“Well, I bumped into Joe Lucas, he was so sweet to me and very funny. He said he was looking for Kevin and that he thought that he heard you on the phone when Nick and he called him, so we were just walking and talking with each other cause if we found one of you, we would find you both.” I took a deep breath. I think Tawny understood most of what I said, even with my ranting.
“But then someone came calling for Joe, 3 guesses who…” I couldn’t help but roll my eyes and so did Tawny. “Chad Dylan Cooper.” Again with the echo.
“So anyway, he started being all annoying…” “Correction, CDC..” again with rolling eyes. “…IS annoying.”
“Okay, you got a point… And the worst thing is … He dragged Joe away from me!” Crap, did I just say that aloud . I guessed so, seeing the smirk Tawny gave me. “You like him!” Ohow, just act dumb! “Who?”
Tawny rolled her eyes again, yes, she does that a lot lately. “Joe Lucas of Jonas… You like him.”
Crap.. “stop it…” “You wanna kiss him!!” Oh that’s It! “What about you? You like Kevin!!!”
“No, I don’t!” Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. “Oh really? Then what happened when you were walking together?”
“Well…” Tawny blushed, wow, Tawny Hart blushed. After that she started mumbling something. “Wait, wait, repeat that again, please, I didn’t quite understand.” I smiled evil, not really evil of course, at her.
“Fine, Fine… I was searching for you and then I saw him, Kevin Lucas was standing right in front me calling someone and looking around kinda confused. I don’t remember the next thing, I think I screamed… Anyway, he hung up his cell phone and walked straight at me and asked where stage 2 was.”
So wow, JONAS was going on MacKenzie Falls and Chad didn’t even tell them where it was?
“So I told him that I was also looking for someone and that I would help him look.” Déjà Vu…
“And he agreed. We talked. He is a bit weird actually, but so sweet. After a while we arrived at stage 2, I hadn’t noticed that yet, so I just kept walking… Then were the other JONAS brothers there and they yelled Kevin’s name. I saw Chad standing beside them, glaring at me. So I told Kevin that I should go look for you and I left him.” Tawny finished her story with a sad smile.
“Girl, you really like him…” I said, It looked that I was talking to the walls cause Tawny was just staring at the television, not paying any attention.
Hmm… Tawny & Kevin …Tevin? Kawny? One thing was for sure… They would be a very cute couple.
