How are you studying Latin? I am a Latinist so am wondering: are you doing it in a class or on your own. If the latter, there's a Latin study email list that might be able to help you. If you're interested, drop me a private message and I'll direct you there. The group I'm working with is more than halfway through Augustine's Confessions, but there are other groups as well. Congratulations on studying Latin; you'll never regret it. Vale!

i wanted to do it with a class.. but apparently, i can't really find it here in singapore. so, i am doing it on my own. i would love to get in touch with the latin study e-mail. ((=

Here is the way to subscribe:

Send an email to: Majordomo@vlists.net:

with the body:

subscribe latinstudy {your email address}

A new beginning Latin group is starting soon. The text is Wheelock, which you should be able to get through Amazon. Each week they do one chapter and send the emailed results to a moderator, who then compiles and posts the contributions so that you can see how well you did and learn from your (and others') errors.
