I found a set of cogs meant for scrapbooking but thought they would go nicely with my jewelry making supplies.  Strangely enough, in looking through some Etsy stores, I learned that others had had the same idea.  I did a little metal wrapping and sewing to come up with this:

You hair, it's monochromatic! Where's the color?? Where is the green or blue or blue and green, or bluegreen?

Hee... purple had to go. Had interviews. But I did the darkest brown then washed over it with the plum purple so I have a more red-based black. AND you can see highlights of purple in certain lights. ;)
