One of the things that helped kick me out of a similar rut is that I decided to see how long I could go without being in any kind of romantic relationship. I didn't seek out relationships and I actively refused to get involved with anyone in any kind of romantic way. I didn't even let myself *think* about being in a relationship with anyone. It forced me to be in a relationship with myself for a while and made me really look at the source of many of my relationship problems (namely, me).
Sometimes, the best thing you can do for yourself is be in a mutually monogamous relationship with yourself for a while.
My lease here ends I think on July 31st, the current plan is to leave Oklahoma then. No point in starting any kind of relationship when I plan to leave, and I'm not into casual sex so celibacy works just fine for me.
Granted, there is one person (rather two, as its a couple) who could change my mind, but things went poorly the last time we tried so I doubt it would be any different giving it another chance.
