Beach beta

We took the short drive to the beach to spend a quiet Sunday. I am enjoying the lovely fresh ocean air and getting some betaing done, while the kids tempt fate by 'avoiding' waves. It is only a matter of time before they fall in the frigid water. I hope you all are having an equally lovely day.

That's a great way to spend a day! I remember when we went one Sunday last January. It's kind of invigorating watching the ocean. I keep forgetting we have one nearby, too, lol. Not as grand as the Pacific, but still... I should make use of it. :)

Though really I prefer the mountains and forest. Lol!

I love mountains and forests, too! It's one of the reasons I love Scotland so much; you're never far from either!

I am surprised. It is rather nice here today. I expected it to be much colder. ;)

We did have a lovely day. We're home now and all tuckered out. Just planning on relaxing away the rest of the day.

I miss living by the sea.

The weather looks beautiful but it can't have been that warm if the kids are running around in sweatshirts.

Yeah, it was chilly in the morning but by afternoon they had stipped down to shorts and swimsuits. We always come prepared for the coldest weather at the beach, cause you never know when you are going to get hit with a icy cold wind coming off the Pacific. ;)
