YESSS RICHARD IS AN IDIOT! I AGREE! he is so dumb seriously i just want to strangle him sometimes, it gets so annoying! kahlan is too good for him! but then again, their chemistry was kinda good in the later episodes too.

but the show gets much much better as it goes on, at least for me. and i do love it a lot.

OH YAY I AM GLAD TO HEAR THAT IT GETS BETTER. I will probably stay up one night and marathon it...before school starts. I still have time! :D

I really do want to like it; it's just that the plot and the characters are so naive sometimes that I just want to facepalm. If Richard grows up a bit and becomes a bit less of a huge dick I guess I could ship Richard/Kahlan. Seriously, I'm just rooting for Kahlan right now because she is so kickass.

at first i HATED richard lol, i really wanted to like him because he's the main lead and all but i just couldn't because he's so retarded! i still dislike richard a lot but i do love richard/kahlan after some scenes. kahlan is amaaazing! and since you mentioned mord-sith, there's this new main character in s2 who is mord-sith and she is absolutely amazing!

I eagerly await those scenes, then. Oh well if the plot turns out to be lame at least I'll have so much pretty scenery and people to look at.

Heh heh LOTR is the ultimate in plot and prettiness, I guess. The scenery surpasses this show, and the characters are a lot more fully rounded and sympathetic. (Of course. It's LOTR.)

But I'm always looking for new fantasy realms to occupy my imagination with ;) And I think this one might become more interesting along the way.

YESSSSSSSSS augh it's so good already and I'm only on episode 2! it's going to take me forever to go through this I wail but it's so good.

okay, you kept LJing about it but also there's a Cavil and Number Five and Starbuck in C&C now haha, and the Cavil-player canonshared and recommended the mini-series I think so I torrented it and watched it and AM HOOKED. HOOKED.

It gets worse, unfortunately, but it gets better first. 8D 8D I'm still stuck halfway through the third season! I love Six/Gaius. They're often overlooked in favour of Adama/Roslin and Lee/Kara, but Six/Gaius is my BSG OTP. Their relationship is so subtly nuanced and full of angst and hotness and mindfrakkery.

Ahah I know, totally stalking them.
