It's a terrific story, isn't it? Although I've just now realised that Zabira has already recorded it, and am listening to her version sheepishly and feeling like I've showed up at a party wearing the same dress as someone else. I do love her audiofic. Um. It's one of my favourite of the things I've recorded, though. Oh, Oliver! You poor poor bloke.

Oh hey! Cool! Thanks for doing this, I'm very flattered. And no worries about podding one that someone else has recorded--everybody likes different voices/styles, yes? Fun to have variants out there.

Aw, yay! Gosh, I do hope you enjoy it - really, it's one of my favourite stories in any fandom. I have absolutely taken it as part of canon, for it is perfect like a perfect thing made of perfect.

i'm with spuffy. i love it when there are multiple recordings of the same story! i've coordinated with folks before to do it on purpose, and it's so interesting to hear different interpretations of the same work.

also? this is one of my favorite S&A stories. yay for podficcing it!

I've got a stack of your DS stories on my iPod, and have spent many a happy hour going about my business here in Bangkok while listening to you telling me awesome stories about Fraser and Ray. Pout. Both the mp4 and mp3 want to open in StuffIt Expander, which I cannot for the life of me successfully download--in fact my computer bitterly resists any technology which would allow me to unzip files. I don't s'pose you could send me an already-unzipped version? *bambi eyes*

Really? Oh, rats. Um. Okay, now I feel worryingly like a Luddite, and am thus not sure whether this will work, but I've uploaded my own copy to Yousendit, and I've not done any zipping business (because I wouldn't know how), so hopefully it should be readable? Um? there should be a link in your gmail account now, insh'allah.
