Like one of the other posters, I haven't yet read enough of your journal to make really informed choices, but I'll give it a go.

Books: Waiting by Ha Jin, Possession by A.S. Byatt, The Story of Lucy Gault by William Trevor, Chronical of a Blood Merchant by Yu Hua, Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami, Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, Silk by Alessandro Baricco, The Vintner's Luck by Elizabeth Knox

Movies: The Age of Innocence, Pride and Prejudice, Anchorman, Shrek (I usually watch classic 40s films or period pieces), Girl With a Pearl Earring (it was gorgeous)

TV Shows: House, Family Guy, 24 (but it's not on until January) (I don't watch much TV)

Music: I'm a classical and baroque aficionado: Bach, B Minor Mass, Joshua Bell, Romance of the Violin, Soundtracks from The Hours and Girl With a Pearl Earring

Hope you get something from that!
