Yeah, that's fine go ahead take what you want.
So how did you like whitby then, apart from having to put up with all those ridiculous goths walking around ? ;-)

oh, I had a great time, make no mistake. On the whole though (ridiculous goths aside ;-) ) I thought the whole thing was quite overhyped though - it's a decent 'goth' festival but nothing more than that, while from the enthusiastic accounts of all the people I'd heard before going it should have been a life-chancing experience or something ;-)

All in all however,as I said, it was good fun so who know, I might even go again one day (though probably not too soon) ;-)

Life changing ?
Of that I'm not so sure I liken it more to a big goth tea party whereas I would think (not ever having been ) WGT would be more like a proper goth festival.
