Friends Cut

Given the friends filters on LJ don't work and I'd like to be able to make more personal entries, I did a friends cut. It's mostly the usual - you don't comment on my entries, I don't comment on your entries.

Nope. It seems that they do for the most part, but I've had them fail on me in the past, filled out a help request, and was told, "you did everything right, sometimes they just don't work"

I haven't filtered anything remotely important since. If I don't want everyone to know it goes in a private entry.

This was forever ago. It was something that I didn't want Melissa to know because it would make living together awkward, but a few days later she mentioned it in passing and I was all :OOOOOOOOO

Wow. That's scary, cuz I filter a lot. Fortunately, no one's mentioned anything. The good news is, I write the truth about how I feel, so if it falls under the wrong eyes, I only need apologize for the fact that they were able to read it.
I was on your side of the street yesterday, and I looked for your buzzer to say hi as I passed by, but I couldn't figure out which one was yours. :)

I believe that there are rules against cutting one's best friend.
