Artoo survived, fortunately (although my cuddly Artoo didn't ... *tear*). Unfortunately, he was so sooty and filthy that I took him to my dad's place for some special cleaning attention. Even now, he's still grubby, so I've decided to call him Battle-Scarred Artoo instead. :)

Artoo's at my dad's place, being cleaned up. He's fine!

And it sucks not being able to go home because the place is so filthy. The builders tell us three to four weeks! WOE.

Artoo did indeed make it - I took him away to clean him, because he was pretty filthy.
