I'm not sure if it's like this in your country, but in South Africa there are people who stand at almost every intersection to a) beg, b) sell something, or c) hand out flyers. It's particularly tricky when all three are at an intersection and I am constantly paranoid that I am going to hit someone someday

thanks to god that we dont have that problem in vienna, since this flyer thing is really uncommon over here
