I know everybody in the world hates tori amos but she does the awesomest cover of Love Song...THanks for this list of reccomendations because I am too lazy to find new music. I am listening to the same shit obsessively, e vocals from that period are so cool because they have this echo-y seventies punk sound and wierdo lyrics which may suck at first but once they grow on you stick like glue, the birthday party, bauhaus and still the cramps. I bet i'd like souixie even though I never have listened to them.

i get mine from emusic. a word of caution - this site does not have any "popular" music on it. i'm not sure why, but it doesn't bother me any because that's not really what i am looking for. its great for indie pop/rock. like i was able to find everything that riuex recommended on that site.
