heh, I like that about some of my family as well. We have radically different views on all types of things and on what we do socially and for fun, but we still can make each other laugh quite well. I guess that is what is the difference between a more happy than not family and just a dysfunctional one, right?

I know. I always hesitate to say my family is dysfunctional because it has such a negative connotation to it - but that's exactly what i mean. like- we DO put the fun in dysfunctional. =P

i think families that can laugh at themselves and with each other are the best around.
