Ten years and nearly five hours ago, I married a man I thought was the great love of my life. And it is true that we were in love, for a time, anyway. When my divorce became final I thought I'd be fine - perfectly fine. A close friend wisely had dropped off a grocery bag that was waiting for me on my doorstep when I got back from court. It had a 2 liter bottle of coke and a 5th of rum. You were married a long time, you had a lot of dreams that didn't happen. And finalizing the end of a relationship can feel a little bit like a failure.

The next morning I was fine, and from the sounds of it, you are too. Hope to see you again soon.
