SO. I want the next season of this to come out yesterday.
1. My friend with whom I watched this episode said, and I agree, that Dale is actually Santa Claus. He is seriously the best old man ever.
2. Shane. Oh, Shane. You asshole. Sometimes I feel really horrible for you, and then you do something like point your gun at the man who is ostensibly your best friend when he has his back turned, or get drunk and more or less try to rape the wife of the man who is ostensibly your best friend, and I'm like SHANE. NO.
3. ~Edmond Jenner~ was a complete dick. My friend with whom I watched this episode hypothesized that what he told Rick at the end was that Carl was infected, but I thought it seemed fairly clear that the woman who willingly stayed behind was the infected one. But, for, real. edmond jenner. complete dick.
4. BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO MERLE?
5. I want more character development of Daryl. I also want more character development of Glenn, and of Shane, and of Andrea. But mostly Daryl.
