Goodness, I always forget how well you do deeply disturbing pain sequences. I'm telling you, I have sympathy pain. Still rolling my tongue around to make sure it's not actually got a hole through it. Which is to say, thank you for writing such an intense fic! The Sam/Jess!Lucifer is good too, it's just hard to top Alistair and needles ;)

Okay, the first one? Totally awesome. I LOVE Lucifer, and him pretending to be Jess is just so low. I like Sam's desperation and willingness there, even though he knows it's a trick. It speaks for how low he was at the time, even though he's sort of finally pulled out of things now.

But the second one...well, you probably didn't know this, but I have this THING about needles. And oh CHRIST, it took me three tries to get all the way through it. I had to stop and hold my mouth and whimper a little before I went back. And, ow. My mouth still hurts and I am still freaked out. (In other words, good job!)

thank you! yeah, after last night's ep, I reread this and was like 'oops, current Sam would totally not just chill with Lucy like that.' So apparently this takes place immediately after the events of Dark Side Of The Moon.
