Not a single trick-or-treater this year. Good, because i had no part in the unnecessary fattening of American children, and my evening wasn't interrupted by the doorbell. Bad, because i now live in a house with a shit-ton of mini Heath bars. Good, because i like Heath bars. Bad, for the same reason ( Read more... )

Shopping (especially for makeup) is the best therapy there is.

It SO is. Just browsing in that store is therapy. Although leaving it empty-handed is tragedy.

I tell myself that when I go to Goodwill. But at least I'm shopping at GOODWILL and Family Dollar for my personal pleasure and not like...Neiman Marcus or something.

i have a large stash of tootsie pops & smarties in my house, since the anticipated 400 tricksters turned into a measly 10. i picked candy that i didn't like enough to gorge on, though, in a rare show of intelligence.
