*hugs you tight* You are brave, Mel. Braver than you will ever realize. Doing something this difficult takes a lot of courage, a courage you proved you have. I forget what movie it's from; one of those old films from when we were kids, I think, but there's a line somewhat like this in there that really resonates with what you did: "Bravery isn't being unafraid. It's being scared, and doing something anyway." Bravery is doing something painful, atrociously painful, because you know it's the right thing in the long run. I could write a paen to your courage, but I'm not too good at composing paens before breakfast ~_

*sweatdrop* Yeah, i suppose it is a little strange out of context. You see, i broke up with my boyfriend yesterday, after fighting for about a month and a half to salvage the relationship. I just couldn't go to sleep, so rather than post an emo rant, like most people on LJ, i decided to write up what happened from my point of view, to sort of put some distance between me and the event?
