I've been rewatching Merlin lately. This week, it was 'The Crystal Cave'... love that episode so much. Not the least of my reasons being for that scene with Arthur fighting in the rain and Merlin leaning against the wall, watching him...

Right after that scene, they had sex. *nods* NO ONE CAN PERSUADE ME OTHERWISE!! So I wrote this. :) Enjoy. (

O_O I want to read more. I want more. I love this. I've been looking everywhere for fics like this and fanfiction.net was not helping. Like an idiot, it took me entirely too long to search LJ for a Merlin/Arthur comm. Sooooooo glad I clicked on this story first. I need to go back and watch this episode again. And I know I'll be thinking about this story after that scene and grinning like crazy.

Thank you! My heart broke for Merlin in this episode... he was trying so hard to make everything right and, in the end, nothing had really changed at all. ♥ I'm glad his emotions came through in my writing. :)
