LJ! How I’ve missed you. *clings* It’s been a rough few weeks, but I think things are getting better. /cryptic.

I love how utterly defenseless Erik is against Charles inner strength, sincerity and charm. And I swear Charles is one of the few characters that is emotionally manipulative but is so charming and earnest about it that one would allow it, and I love Erik struggling against that because he knows it comes from a need to protect and bring out the good in Erik, not control him.
You have no idea how thrilled I am that one of my top Sam/G writers is writing my other top OTP.:)

YES. And it's not even that he is all the time, just that he so easily could be, you know? :)

YES! What you said! I saw it for the first time 6 weeks ago and I've been going nuts about it ever since! It gets into your brain and won't get out.

This is lovely and so powerful. Erik's desire to hurt Charles with understanding was totally believable, and for Charles to stand up under it and still want to try, for Erik and for others, to knowingly want to share their pain and hurt -- and Erik's stunned reaction, his then wish to help Charles, was just beautifully done. Everything here is so effectively written, I was totally drawn in. Well done. <3
