And just like that...spring has sprung! These are the first beauties to pop up in my front garden this year! what kind of flowers are those?

They're crocuses which are a fall planting bulb. They're known for their early bloom time, sometimes even appearing when there's still a little snow on the ground. They're most typically this purple color but can be found in all sorts of varieties these days. You should definitely plant some for yourself this next year, I love them!

I think I will. Do you know how long they stay in bloom for? Are they native to michigan.
