Bingo scratched me up something fierce. And yeah, that's not a sentence I ever thought I'd utter, but when one of your best friends has become a koala bear, you find yourself saying quite a few things you didn't expect. Like, Eru dammit, those claws of Bingo really hurt!And they still smart, but not so badly since Celly cleaned them up for me so

*comes back carrying a tray of tea, cookies, and strawberries, sets it on the table beside the bed, eyes Melba's bandages then sees her smile and returns it* A little snack before you get some rest, sweets.

Aww, you didn't have to do that. And after you cleaned me and wrapped me so nicely. *takes her hand, drawing her closer to sit on the bed, and holds it between both of her own, playing with her fingers*

I wanted to. *sits beside her* Oh, and that was such a burden, tending to one so lovely. *playfully rolls her eyes* How are you feeling now?

Tended to and pampered. *pulls Celly's hand to her lips and kisses the back*

You better watch out--I might get used to that and expect it on a regular basis. Why, I might even seek out danger just to be so well tended to. *bites her lower lip in an impish smile*
